It’s fall y’all!

It is fall Ya’ll. See what I did there (hee hee).  It may have been 70 degrees for trick or treating, but it is fall. The energy is different and I am so thrilled to send out my quarterly installment of my newsletter.

This fall marked a big jump for my business. We are officially incorporated as MKL Consulting, LLC. Shout out to everyone who helped me with the name! 🙂

I started the season traveling to NYC for our podcast’s first-ever (but not last) fashion week event at the Fashionphile Flagship store. It was an amazing experience filled with designer coffee drinks, vintage bags, and most importantly fierce conversation in the community about what it means to thrive.

I have been busy teaching a law school course at Vermont Law School and taking a course through the Nutritional Therapy Association. Being a student again is so humbling and fun. 

My expert witness work is gratefully  growing. This season, I have been hired to work on both a criminal and civil case and am looking forward to expanding that aspect of my business.

I took a leap and traveled for my first training solo. While I am used to doing trainings locally, traveling out of state was a huge step for me. We talked about cross-generational communication challenges….and I was honored to hold space and ask some really hard questions.

I had two media hits that were exciting and tragic. Highlighting the gaps in how are systems work and pushing them to do better is part of my life’s work.
